Midjourney V7 Achieves Groundbreaking Photorealism and Enhanced In-Image Text Integration
Midjourney version 6 (V6) has released an alpha version of its latest update, which is expected to solve the in-image text issue that has plagued AI image and video generations. The new version promises to bring even more photorealism and establish Midjourney as one of the best text-to-image apps in the AI space. Developed by the Midjourney research collective and founded by David Holz, Midjourney has become a popular gateway into the world of generative AI, but faces stiff competition from other AI models. The V6 version is the third model trained from scratch and took nine months to develop.
The issue of in-image text has proved challenging for many AI models, but early samples of Midjourney V6 suggest that the update may have finally cracked this problem. If this is true, it could pave the way for other AI models to incorporate in-image text as well.
Currently, the latest version of Midjourney is only available as an alpha release and is being slowly rolled out on the Discord server. Only select power users may have access to it initially. However, users have reported that they have been able to activate V6 by accessing the settings on the Midjourney Discord server or by manually specifying “-v 6” after their prompts.
