Microsoft's AI-powered Copilot app now available on iPhones and iPads, rivaling ChatGPT

Microsoft has released its Copilot app for iPhone and iPad users, expanding the reach of its AI-powered assistance. The app, previously known as Bing chat, offers functionalities similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT mobile app. It utilizes the power of OpenAI’s latest models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3, distinguishing itself from other chat assistants. Unlike ChatGPT, which operates on GPT-3.5, Copilot provides free access to GPT-4. The app offers chatbot features, image generation through DALL-E 3, and streamlined text drafting for emails and documents. In addition, Microsoft has rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot and partnered with Suno, an AI-based music creation company, to enhance its capabilities. This announcement builds on Microsoft’s commitment to continuous innovation and its goal of providing a comprehensive AI-powered platform across different devices and mediums.
