A recent study has shown that ChatGPT significantly outperforms doctors in generating medical records. Researchers from Uppsala University Hospital and Uppsala University in Sweden found that ChatGPT can increase the speed of generating administrative medical notes tenfold without compromising quality. The study involved six virtual patient cases, where orthopedic doctors created discharge documents followed by ChatGPT-4 generating the same documents. Results indicated that the quality of documents generated by ChatGPT was comparable to that of doctors, but much faster.
